Barry Lind, co-founder of Lind-Waldock, dies in car accident

Industry pioneer hit by car near Palm Springs, California

Barry Lind, co-founder of Lind-Waldock retail broker and one of young turks who helped propel the Chicago Mercantile Exchange into the modern era, was hit by a car and killed last night near Palm Springs, Calif. He was 74.
