The Alpha Pages was formed by media and alternative investment industry veterans to create the ultimate global information network for the alternative investment industry. In Q1 2013 The Alpha Pages acquired the foundation for this network—the iconic, 40+ year-old Futures Magazine, and digital media properties Futuresmag.com and ResourceInvestor.com. In Q2 2014, The Alpha Pages acquired the leading global hedge fund and private equity information platform FINalternatives.com.

  • Daniel Collins

    Editor-in-Chief of Futures Magazine, Daniel Collins is a 25-year veteran of the futures industry having worked on the trading floors of both the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dan originally joined Futures in 2001 and in 2005 he was promoted to Managing Editor. In 2013 was named Editor-in-Chief.   • Deirdre Brennan

    Deirdre Brennan is the Editor-in-Chief of FINalternatives, the premier, independent source for news on the alternative investment industry. Prior to founding FINalternatives in 2005, Deirdre was an editor at Institutional Investor News where she developed a series of online newsletters, including Hedge Fund Daily.


    Originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Deirdre earned a BA in English and Journalism from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University (SIPA) in New York. She currently resides in London, where she serves as UK Chapter Director for The Hedge Fund Association.

  • Yesenia Duran

    Managing Editor Yesenia Duran has covered niche topics for more than a decade-spending 5 of those years as associate editor at Futures writing about the markets. She originally joined Futures in 2002 after graduating from Northwestern University where she majored in journalism. She has managed content and written for several magazines since, including Inside Counsel and Law and Order. In 2014 she returned to Futures as Managing Editor.     Jeff Joseph is the Chief Executive Officer of The Alpha Pages.
