The story today is U.S. dollar weakness. The Aussie dollar is leading the pack, trading up 177 ticks to 97.40. The yen is also very strong today, trading up 145 ticks.

The U.S. bond market has really slid a lot this month, with the U.S. 30-year trading down almost 2 full points this morning, hitting a low of 141’09. Our first key target level of 141 has almost been hit.

The yen is now firmly above our key pivot level of 97.60, and we have a technical target on the upside at 100.24 to indicate we believe the short covering in the yen still has room to run.
