Today’s much better than expected unemployment report — nonfarm payrolls up 243K and the unemployment rate dropping to 8.3% from 8.5% — caused a massive sell-off in the long bond. The 30-year dropped nearly two full points ($2,000 on a one-lot) in a minute’s time.
