Editorial Director Ginger Szala is Group Editorial Director of Futures Magazine, the largest and oldest publication covering the derivatives industry. Ms. Szala joined Futures Magazine after receiving her master’s degree at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1983. As a cub reporter, Ms. Szala covered the extraordinary growth of the industry internationally, as well as developed the managed money beat for the magazine. She was named editor-in-chief in 1991, publisher and editor of Futures in 1999 and in 2009 was named editorial director of the Professional Services Group of Summit Business Media, in which she manages four publications, Treasury&Risk, Credit Union Times, InsideCounsel and Futures Magazine.
