Eric Swanson will be joining New York-based XTX Markets as CEO (Americas), effective June 1.
Swanson is a securities industry veteran, most recently serving as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Bats Global Markets Inc. since 2008. Prior to joining Bats, Swanson served for more than 10 years in various roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including as assistant director with responsibility for oversight of exchange and broker trading systems.
