Pinnacle Award winners include familiar faces

The 2015 Managed Futures Pinnacle awards presented by CME Group and BarclayHedge were announced last night in a ceremony in Chicago. Once again it was a fun event, with live entertainment provided by Comedian Jay Mohr.

The Pinnacle Lifetime Achievement Award went to Cliff Asness, Managing and Founding Principal at AQR Capital Management. Asness is credited with the revolutionary concept of offering managed futures products through a mutual fund structure. Currently AQR is managing more than $8 billion. Asness is bullish on the industry, stating, “We know [managed futures] belongs in a whole lot more investment portfolios than it is in.”
