Wallet Hub, which was launched by Evolution Finance in February 2012 as a one-stop destination tool providing information to consumers and small business owners to help them make better financial decisions, recently listed the best cities to start a business in.
WalletHub gauged the relative entrepreneurial opportunities in the 150 largest U.S. cities based on two key dimensions: access to resources and business environment.
From there they identified 13 metrics and weighted them based on importance.
The metrics included the five-year survival rate of businesses in each city, affordability of office space and the educational attainment of the local labor force.
Here is what they found.
