Back to the Futures

Yes, we are inclined to overuse that headline, but so often it fits.

It fit this past December when Dan Collins returned as Editor-in-Chief of FUTURES Magazine to an enthusiastic response from the futures industry and trading community.

It works again this week as we are thrilled to announce the return of Yesenia Duran (aka “Yesi”) to FUTURES in her new role as Managing Editor.

Yesi began her career with FUTURES as Associate Editor in 2002, covering industry news, copy editing and mastering the Trading 101 feature. She has spent more than a decade honing her skills as a reporter, writer and editor, covering niche industry news and technologies--always aiming to tell the story in a way that will get the reader thinking and talking.

When an opportunity for a new hire opened up on our staff, Yesi was at the top of Dan’s short list—having worked closely with her during her FUTURES past.

With Yesi’s return, no full-time member of our high energy, low latency editorial and sales team has less than five years with FUTURES.

Welcome back, Yesi! Yesi looks forward to hearing your suggestions, story ideas and news tips at and you can follow her on her new twitter handle @yesifutures. Also, connect with Yesi on LinkedIn.
