First off, I would like to thank all of those sending notes of congratulations and well wishes regarding my return to Futures as editor-in-chief. I certainly did not become a stranger to Futures’ regular readers as I continued to contribute multiple articles on a regular basis. I also had the pleasure of launching my blog, the DanCollinsReport.com. I received a tremendously positive response to the site that was professionally designed by the folks at Gate 39 Media. While the DanCollinsReport.com will be going away, I will continue to write commentary covering various aspects of trading, investing, futures and money management. The blog was really a continuation of what I did with the Futures blog: BuyTheRumorSellTheFact.com and I will continue to write about issues I feel are important to the industry and offer my insight on those that are affecting it.
We are constantly bombarded with information and sometimes it is difficult to know what is important and what is simply noise, and it is easy to miss some items that will help us understand the markets better. I attempted to pick out information important to traders, money managers and people interested in the industry and offer my insight and analysis. I will continue to do that.
I also would invite all the readers of FuturesMag.com and the DanCollinsReport.com to engage with us regarding the issues they are interested in and feel need to be brought out in the open. So much of what I had written about at the DCR was inspired by notes from readers and friends in the industry pointing out an item that was missed or errors made by the general business media world regarding our industry.
We are moving over much of the content produced by the DCR. Below are links to my most popular posts from the DCR.
