At final market top, this stock bull trend will be like all others

Weekly Review: MAAD & CPFL Report

Conclusion

The new highs reached by major indexes last week continued to delight those with the prescience to be long while confounding those who are out of the market and those worrying about whether they should get in. In no instance does the market “care” about individual concerns. It will likely put in place a short-term top in the not too distant future and the extent to which that Minor Cycle pull back develops will determine the staying power of the next larger Intermediate Cycle that has been underway since the November 16 lows. And, as a consequence, the Major Cycle that has been moving higher since March 2009.

Whether this market turns negative Monday morning at the opening bell, or at some indeterminate time in the future, we suspect it will, in retrospect, look no different than any other bull market top that has ever developed.
