Report to Congress covers 'next steps' for Dodd-Frank

A joint Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission report to Congress analyzes global regulatory efforts to coordinate rules required by the Dodd-Frank law.

The report, issued on Jan. 31, is intended to summarize OTC derivatives regulation of markets inside and outside the United States, and act as "a timely comparative tool in the ongoing effort to achieve consistency in regulation.”
