SIX Swiss Exchange will offer co-location services for its new equities trading platform X-stream INET in conjunction with Equinix.

TradeStation announced its “Trade Free for Life” contest in which it encourages U.S.-based traders, 21 years of age and older, to submit their most creative “If only I could . . .” idea to best analyze and trade financial markets. TradeStation will offer one prize winner a commission-free futures or equities brokerage account.

Eurex upgraded its software to Eurex Release 14.0. The three new developed interfaces, Eurex Market Data, Eurex FIX Gateway, and FIXML Clearing API, are based on the industry standards FIX and FIXML, and are designed for non latency-sensitive trading members and clearing members.

worldflow, a leading provider of software and consultancy services to the financial markets, today announced the launch of its latest App – “FuturesTechs App.” It provides research and daily analysis for prop traders, brokers and fund managers covering the worlds’ leading Futures and forex markets, as well as large Cap UK equities.

Dow Jones is adding 30 economic indicators from Southeast Asia to its Elementized News Feed, a machine-readable news feed for algorithmic traders. A dozen of the indicators have been added over the past month and the remainder will be available by the end of the January. The indicators originate from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.

TradeStation Group, Inc. announced the acquisition of IBFX Holdings, LLC, a provider of forex trading services to 27,000 individual traders, fund managers and institutional clients worldwide.
