The NIBA is forwarding this petition to the court in New York City handling the MF Global Bankruptcy. We are taking this action in behalf of all our members, including those who cleared MFG and those who did not. Although the CME has indicated it is adding approximately $300 million to the funds, it appears the remainder of MFG’s customers funds will be subject to a lengthy legal process. As you are well aware, these funds are absolutely necessary for an efficient marketplace.
