HOUSTON & LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OTC Global Holdings (OTCGH), a leading independent interdealer broker in over-the-counter commodities, announced today the formation of Equus Energy. The team of nine experienced brokers will specialize in all Western Systems Power Pool delivery points, primarily consisting of South-of-Path 15 (SP-15), Palo Verde (PV) and Mid Columbia (Mid-C). Equus Energy will serve institutional clients including banks, hedge funds, energy companies and utilities in the western region, and will offer fixed price power products, heat rate products and power options.
The brokering group will be led by Tim Osting, previously with ICAP. Joining him are Kurt Brown, Goddard Hampton, Jonathan Lindsey, Andrew Mittel, Jimmy Mueller, Brenden Nowak, Tod Vaught and Will Vaughn, all of whom began working at OTCGH six months ago after leaving ICAP.
