ICE announced it has extended the duration of its agreement to exclusively offer futures and options contracts based on the Russell 2000® Index and Russell 1000® Index, as well as expanded the agreement to cover the exclusive listing of futures and options on Russell's international indexes.

CBOE announced plans to launch options on Volatility Indexes (VIX) of individual stocks and crude oil ETFs.

CBOE introduced an iPad app for options trading.
