The London Metal Exchange (LME) will launch new reference prices for copper, aluminum and zinc markets on Jan. 24, 2011, based on trading activity on the Exchange during the Asian time zone.

Newedge, using FFastfill software, has created a platform to provide qualified Newedge buy-side clients with access to global futures and Chinese futures from a single trading screen.

Intercontinental Exchange announced the first trade of German natural gas futures contracts on ICE Futures Europe, Europe’s leading energy exchange.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) and London Metal Exchange Ltd (LME) will jointly launch three new metal contracts on SGX on Feb. 15 2011. The three metal contracts are copper, aluminum and zinc futures.
