Bodson named DTCC COO

Michael C. Bodson was appointed chief operating officer at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Bodson joined DTCC in 2007 as executive managing director for business management and strategy. Prior to joining DTCC, Bodson held a number of senior management positions with Morgan Stanley over a 20-year period. He is based in New York.

David Meister was appointed director of enforcement at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Scott R. Anderson and Joseph S. Berry Jr. were appointed co-heads of depository investment banking at KBW.

Heather Seidel was appointed director of the trading and markets division at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Thomas Bayer was appointed CIO.

Ryan Hansen was recently named vice president of business development at Open E Cry.

Jason Manumaleuna was appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer at R.J. O’Brien.

Virginia Gambale was appointed to the board of directors at Alphacet.

Mark Pearce was appointed director of the newly-established division of depositor and consumer protection (DCP) at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

James Cawley was named CEO at Javelin Capital Markets. Chris Augustin also joined the company as it CIO.

Nick Zarabara was named senior vice president, head of corporate trading for Southwest Securities. Peter Kendall joined the company as a senior vice president.

Paulina McGroarty joined SGX as head of its listings unit in Europe, the Middle East and Russia.

Samir Patel joined Nomura as head its U.S. execution sales. Chris Valli also joined Nomura as head of its U.S. research sales.

Patrick Birley was appointed by the London Stock Exchange to lead the Exchange’s new clearing house.

Vikas Srivastava joined Integral Development as managing director in charge of business development.

Richard Sandor joined the Volatility Exchange's board of directors.
