FIA comments on CFTC co-location proposal

The Futures Industry Association (FIA) sent a letter to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on its proposed rulemaking on co-location, which mandates that exchanges offer equal access to co-location/proximity hosting facilities and must disclose latency numbers from those facilities, that fees for co-location and proximity services must be uniform and that exchanges must ensure they have sufficient agreements in place with third-party service providers to carry out their self-regulatory obligations.
