Representative: With regard to financial reform, stricter rules will win

U.S. Rep. Frank (D-Mass.) says provisions in the stricter Senate financial reform bill will win out when it's merged with the House version of the bill later this year.

Two bills are currently active in Congress – a U.S. House version that was passed in December, and a Senate version currently undergoing debate. In an interview with Bloomberg, Frank, the House Financial Services Committee chairman, says the public's appetite for tougher new regulations has increased since the House debated its bill.
