New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) will launch two new NYISO Zone E, peak and off-peak, electricity swap futures contracts for trading on the Nymex trading floor and for submission for clearing through CME ClearPort. Nymex also will list financially settled futures and options on its Henry Hub Natural Gas futures contract and seven new financially settled, petroleum futures contracts.

R.J. O’Brien (RJO) announced a partnership with Sucden Financial Limited, a ring dealing member of the London Metal Exchange. Through this new partnership, all of RJO’s U.S. metals business will be routed through Sucden Financial. RJO also opened R.J. O’Brien & Associates Canada Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Jaypee International Inc., a brokerage and trading firm, was approved as an associate trade member of the London Metal Exchange Ltd.

The London Metal Exchange will create LME Asia, opening its first overseas office in Singapore in April.
