Trusted with millions of dollars by his investors, Trevor Cook instead used the funds to support his own lavish lifestyle, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission alleges.
However, the Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that the details make this story significantly more appalling for Cook's clients -- and more titillating for a gossip-hungry public. Cook's tastes allegedly included booze, gambling, luxuries and strippers, most likely not what his customers intended for their millions, particularly considering Cook attracted many using ads that aired on Christian talk radio.
