Streich to head Penson GHCO

John Streich was named president and CEO of Penson GHCO. Streich served as a member of Penson GHCO’s senior management team since the 2007 acquisition of First Capitol Group LLC. Former CEO Chris Hehmeyer will become non-executive chairman. “I’m really excited to be the CEO of Penson GHCO. In 2010 we plan to grow our business beyond our traditional base of high-frequency traders and exchange professionals. I look forward to expanding our service offerings to introducing brokers,” Streich says.

Gerard J. Pannekoek was named president and CEO at the Intellectual Property Exchange International. Previously he was president and COO of the Chicago Climate Exchange.

Brian T. Moynihan was appointed chief executive officer and president of Bank of America. Previously he was president of consumer banking at Bank of America.

John Fay was named senior managing director and head of the Americas region at Newedge. Previously he was co-CEO and co-president of Instinet.

Otto E. Nageli was named chairman designate of CME Clearing Europe.

Robert Woods was named chief financial officer at Sungard. Previously he was chief financial officer of IKON Office Solutions.

James A. Hyerczyk was named chief market strategist at Brewer Futures Group.

Fritz McCormick and Simmy Grewal joined Aite Group as senior analysts.

Rolf Agather was promoted to director of index research & innovation at Russell Investments.

Mike McClain was promoted to executive vice president, business operations group at the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). Tom Chatoney was promoted to vice president, enterprise integration & infrastructure platforms at OCC and Dennis Woods was promoted to vice president, financial surveillance at OCC.
