McCormick named CEO of BOX

Tony McCormick was named chief executive officer of the Boston Options Exchange (BOX). Previously he managed the trade execution quality group at Charles Schwab & Co. “BOX has consistently found a unique way of meeting customers’ needs with its ability to be nimble, personalize customer service and dedication to innovation,” McCormick said in a statement.

Shozo Ohta was named president and CEO of the Tokyo Financial Exchange (TFX). Previously he was senior managing director and COO of TFX.

Sean Barry was appointed head of North America at Patsystems, replacing Patrick Kenny, who left the firm.

Lori Schock was named a director at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Previously, she was at the Financial Industry
Regulatory Authority.

Valery Lepinette was named global head of press relations at Newedge.

Craig S. Donohue, CEO of CME Group, was elected to the 2010 board of directors for the World Federation of Exchanges.

Philip Godfrey was named president at Everest Capital. Previously he was a partner at Pathway Capital Management.

Carrick Pierce was named president of Derivix. Previously he was at Parallax Fund L.P.

Scott Slutsky was named managing director of the global services division at PFGBEST.

Glen Badach was promoted to chief financial officer at DirectEdge.

Derek Sammann was promoted to managing director, financial products and services, at CME Group.

Benjamin Foo was promoted to executive vice president at Singapore Exchange Limited.

Gary S. Weber, Richard A. Dusek and Michael L. Ricks were re-elected to the board of directors at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX). Alan Swimmer was named public director on the MGEX board.

Andrew D. Kolinsky, Philip A. Pendergraft, and Tom Stern were elected to the Options Clearing Corporation’s board of directors.
