Lukken moves to NYSE Euronext

Walt Lukken was named senior vice president, legal—global market structure at NYSE Euronext. Previously he was acting chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. “I am thrilled to have accepted a newly created position with NYSE Euronext,” Lukken said in an e-mail to colleagues.

Laurie R. Ferber was named general counsel at MF Global. Previously, she was general counsel for International Derivatives Clearing Group. “I look forward to applying my previous legal, financial and regulatory experience to help drive MF Global’s corporate strategy and assist in guiding the company through today’s evolving regulatory environment,” Ferber says.

Khalid Al-Attiyah was named chairman of the Qatar Exchange.

Scott Hall was named managing director of North American sales at ACTIV Financial. Steve Williams was named vice president of professional services at ACTIV Financial.

Shad Quraishi was named vice chairman and head of business development and strategy for the asset management and capital markets businesses at NewOak Capital.

Maryann Goebel joined Fiserv as executive vice president and chief information officer. Tim Berrada joined Fiserv as the business development director of investment services for the Asia-Pacific region.

John Cotter was named group finance director at Collins Stewart plc. Previously he worked in the global capital markets division at RBS.

David Baum was named the U.S. sales and business development manager for Strategy Runner.

Nicolas Breteau was promoted to global head of sales and front office at Newedge.

Amaury De Villemandy was promoted to CEO of Newedge Europe and Middle East.

Kenneth Griffin has joined the board of E*Trade Financial Corp. He is the chief executive of Citadel Investment Group.

Michael Kuhn, Michael Monaco and J. Slade Winchester were named to the board of directors at the International Securities Exchange.

Russell Rhoads joined The Options Institute at the Chicago Board Options Exchange as an instructor and course content writer.

Richard Schenkman was named to the board of directors at Derivix.
