Dan to lead MF Global

Bernard W. Dan was promoted to CEO of MF Global. He had been MF Global’s president and chief operating officer and previously served as president and CEO of the Chicago Board of Trade. “There are significant opportunities in front of this company and I look forward to delivering higher value to customers and employees as well as higher returns to our shareholders,” Dan said in a statement.

Michael O’Connell was named managing director, clearing business development at CME Group. Previously he was a senior vice president at Northern Trust Corporation.

Stuart J. Kaswell was named executive vice president and general counsel of Managed Funds Association. Previously he was a partner at Bryan Cave LLP.

Richard Boerke has joined Prudential Bache Commodities as senior vice president and head of its Chicago, Kansas City and Minneapolis offices. Previously he was a senior vice president of capital prime services at Lehman Brothers.

Theodore A. Sturiale has joined Prudential Bache Commodities as a vice president and head of North American eCommerce solutions.

Alistair McNaughton was appointed chief legal officer at Mulvaney Capital Management. Previously he was deputy head of legal at Threadneedle.

Kevin G. O’Brien joined Agora-X as managing director of New York opetions and marketing.

Jeanette S. Young was named CMT program director at The Market Technicians Association.

Steph Duckworth was promoted to COO of Tullett Prebon. Previously he was CEO, EMEA at Tullett Prebon.

Tami Schademann was promoted to chief regulatory officer and senior vice president of BATS Exchange.

Dan Weingarten and Sean Malloy were promoted to senior vice presidents and co-directors of global sales and marketing at Penson Worldwide Inc.

William Harrington was promoted to executive vice president, sales manager at Advantage Futures.
