Ricardo Manrique was named CEO of Stoxx Limited. Previously, he worked in Latin American derivatives sales and structuring at Standard Bank Plc. “Ricardo’s great experience in index development, structured products and the derivatives marketplace will be an immense advantage for Stoxx Limited,” said Werner Buerki, chairman of Stoxx supervisory board, in a statement.
Paul Koster was appointed CEO of the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
Karl D. Cooper was named chief regulatory officer of NYSE Liffe. Previously he was global head of prime services compliance for Barclays Capital.
Kim Rosenkilde will join ICAP as CEO–Asia Pacific in January 2009. Previously he was head of global markets, North America at ABN Amro.
Jeffrey Mayer was named global head of fixed income at UBS. Previously he was co-head of fixed income at Bear Stearns.
Greg Collins was named chief compliance officer of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange. Previously he was director of U.S. surveillance at Merrill Lynch.
Roger Hollingsworth was named EVP and managing director, government relations at the Managed Funds Association. Previously he served as senior policy advisor to U.S. Senator Christopher J. Dodd (D-CT).
C. Robert Paul has joined DLA Piper as counsel to the alternative asset management group. The former CFTC general counsel most recently worked as an independent consultant.
