Indexes

The Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Index, created for Is Investment, an investment bank in Turkey, will serve as the underlying for an exchange traded fund (ETF). The Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Index is a price weighted index tracking the largest 15 stocks traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, based on float market capitalization. The index is expected to launch on the Istanbul Stock exchange in the third quarter of 2006 pending Is Investment’s regulatory approval. www.djindexes.com.

STOXX Ltd. and Dow licensed the Dow Jones STOXX 600 Supersector Indexes and the Dow Jones Jones Indexes have Turkey Titans 20 Index to Lyxor AM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Société Génerale, to serve as underlying for exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Technology

CQG Inc. now has a connection to ICE Futures via ICE’s FIX API, offering trade routing with real-time and historical spread data for ICE products. Traders use CQG’s analytics, charting and order routing capabilities to identify opportunities and execute trading strategies in ICE Futures’ markets. CQG’s order routing customers can trade electronic markets, such as ICE Futures’ benchmark ICE Brent Crude and ICE WTI crude futures contracts, as well as the ICE Gas Oil futures, the leading heating oil futures contract by traded volume. www.cqg.com.

Exchanges

The London Metal Exchange (LME) will launch small-size, cash settled, electronically traded monthly futures contracts for copper, aluminum and zinc before the end of November 2006. Lot sizes will be five-metric tonnes, with the underlying specification the same as for the full-size parent contracts. Contracts will be tradable on LME Select. www.lme.co.uk/
